Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and capable Physiotherapist with a passion for women's and pelvic health to join our year-round team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in women's, maternity, or pelvic health (hospital or private practice) who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking to further develop their skills or step into a leadership/mentorship pathway in this area. You will work with a varied caseload across women's health presentations, supporting patients through injury, recovery, and ongoing wellbeing. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment, with strong clinical support and dedicated 1:1 mentorship to help you grow in pelvic health.
This is a 5-day working week focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and contributing to overall clinic performance and patient experience. Women’s and pelvic health services are strongly supported within the clinic, with ongoing development opportunities available to further build your expertise in this area.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care:
- Assess, treat, and manage a varied caseload with a strong focus on women’s and pelvic health presentations, alongside general musculoskeletal conditions
- Deliver evidence-based, hands-on treatment and individualised rehabilitation plans
- Support patients through pelvic health concerns, injury recovery, maternity-related conditions, and ongoing wellbeing
- Manage and rebook follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes and patient records
- Facilitate onward referrals (e.g. imaging, specialist care) where appropriate
- Contribute to patient engagement, education, and overall clinic reputation
- Work toward individual and team KPIs
- Liaise with referring practitioners and insurance providers
- Support clinic operations and contribute to a collaborative team environment, with opportunities to mentor junior staff where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (qualification/registration in Australia, New Zealand, or the UK is highly regarded)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) and/or women’s and pelvic health (private practice or hospital) settings
- Experience or strong interest in women’s and pelvic health (additional training and mentorship can be provided for those developing in this area)
- Strong clinical reasoning and confidence in independent decision-making
- Commitment to evidence-based, outcome-driven practice
- High level of professionalism and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international clinical environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Adaptable and comfortable living in shared accommodation
- Eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or valid work permit in Japan
