1. Artists: Responsible for formulating art production workflows and optimizing assets to enable high-quality products to be created with limited resources;
2. Work with other technical artists, artists, front-end engineers, engine rendering engineers, planners, etc. to formulate technical art policies based on project needs, promote their implementation, and ensure the smooth development of the project;
3. Develop and test a prototype for visual verification, and decide on production specifications such as production flow and tools together with the artist;
4. Participate in the development pipeline construction of multiple art modules and provide suggestions for tool optimization and workflow efficiency improvement;
5. Present technical requirements for pipelines, workflows and tools to game teams to meet their product goals;
6. Promote the formulation, implementation and operation of technical standards, conduct performance analysis and optimization, and formulate optimization policies;
7. Participate in meetings with the planning team to discuss schedules for technical proposals from the technical art side;
8. Understand current and emerging industry workflows, tools, pipelines, and technology areas and drive the adoption of new technologies into project teams;
9. Hire and train new technical artists, and collaborate with other members of the technical art team to research and share their work;
10. Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for the artists/technical artists on the team.
Job Description

6. Establish and enforce technical standards, conduct performance analysis and optimization, and formulate improvement strategies.
7. Participate in planner team meetings, coordinating schedules and providing technical art solutions that align with project milestones.
8. Stay informed on industry trends, workflows, tools, pipelines, and emerging technologies, and drive the adoption of innovative solutions within the team.
9. Support the recruitment and training of new technical artists while collaborating with team members to advance technical research and knowledge sharing.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for artists and technical artists, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and efficient workflows.
Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Computer Science or related field, at least 5 years of technical art or related experience, and at least 1-2 console/PC AAA game development experiences;
2. Familiarity with the production flow of AAA game backgrounds, characters, effects, etc. (Meeting any one of these is sufficient);
3. Practical experience with 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Houdini, etc. (any of these is acceptable);
4. Practical experience in animation, rigging, lighting, cutscenes, etc. (any of these is acceptable);
5. Some knowledge of scripting and programming in languages such as MaxScript, Python, or C# (any of these is sufficient);
6. Experience with at least one shader programming language that understands real-time rendering pipelines, such as GLSL, HLSL, CG, etc.;
7. The work must be 2D or 3D art that understands the features and limitations of a platform (PS5/PC/Mobile);
8. Extensive experience in game performance optimization and related tools;
9. Excellent time management, prioritization, and technical execution driving ability, with excellent documentation skills and habits;
10. Good cooperation and communication skills, fluent in Chinese or English, and able to read English technical documents and papers fluently;

Qualifications

2. Deep understanding of AAA game production workflows in environments, character modeling, or VFX(experience in any of these areas is acceptable).
3. Proficiency in 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, or Houdini (any of these tools is acceptable).
4. Experience in animation, rigging, lighting, or cutscene production (any relevant experience is acceptable).
5. Solid scripting and programming knowledge in MaxScript, Python, or C# (any of these languages is acceptable).
6. Strong understanding of real-time rendering pipelines, with experience in GLSL, HLSL, or CG shader programming.
7. Familiarity with platform-specific (PS5/PC/Mobile) technical requirements and constraints, with experience creating 2D or 3D assets.
8. Extensive experience in game performance optimization and related toolsets.
9. Excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with strong documentation habits.
10. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in Chinese or English, and the ability to read and understand technical papers and documentation in English.
Preferred Qualifications
● Hands-on experience in rigging, lighting, cutscenes, and post-processing.
● Proven track record in AAA game development, from prototyping to full-scale production.
