Background of Recruitment

Fast Retailing (FR) Group is transforming itself to create a "new industry" based on the concept of "LifeWear" that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional industries. We are looking for a person who can promote the organizational structure and culture that enables more diverse people to exercise their abilities as a Diversity Promotion Officer at GHQ (Global Head Quarter).

Outline of the Department

FR's Japan Headquarters, as the Global Headquarters (GHQ), is expected to strongly drive the business growth of FR Group and its brands in 25 countries around the world (as of October 2020) on a global scale.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing various projects in the areas of women's activities, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities, and communicating these projects both internally and externally, while collaborating with each department within GHQ and each country's business to promote diversity within the FR Group as a whole.

Job Description

Planning, execution, and promotion of FR Group's diversity strategy

Promote understanding of diversity within the company in order to foster a more diverse culture

Develop policies and frameworks to promote diversity in each region and country, and identify and provide advice on related initiatives.

Conduct internal and external public relations activities.

Job Descriptions are subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters as a result of departmental transfers and organizational changes.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities

Experience in diversity promotion, sustainability promotion, or human resources at a business company or consulting firm.

Those who have the same perspective as management and are able to solve problems as a change agent.

Those with a good sense of balance who can respect each and every employee on the frontline while pursuing the ideal of what should be.

Management or practical experience and knowledge of diversity promotion

Smooth communication skills for internal and external coordination

Experience in human resources or education related work

Experience in human resources or education related work ・TOEIC score of 800 or above or the ability to communicate in English without any problems in business

International experience and knowledge/understanding of multicultural issues are also a plus.

Full-time (no fixed term, probationary period (3 months))

Annual salary

Annual salary range: 672-17.2 million yen (monthly salary: 42-956,000 yen)

Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)

Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)

Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
