Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Facility Worker/Driver to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy clinic and staff housing. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in keeping things running efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and assist patients to and from the clinic during dedicated driving shifts
• Drive and assist staff with transport to and from town and local shops
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the clinic and staff accommodation 
• Ensure safe and accessible premises by snow clearing and seasonal upkeep
• Purchase, restock, and manage clinic and household supplies as needed
• Support warehouse operations, including maintaining stock, assisting with product preparation, delivery and fulfilment
• Manage waste disposal across clinic and staff accommodation in line with local regulations

What We're Looking For

• Proactive, trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic 
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable with working hours
• Friendly and respectful approach towards patients
• Trade qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience is highly regarded
• Confident, safe driver, especially in winter and snow conditions
• Adaptable and comfortable living in shared accommodation
  
• Eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or valid work permit in Japan (please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before submitting your application)
• Eligible for an International Driving Permit in Japan (must obtain manual transmission vehicle license)
