Chemours is seeking a Customer Excellence Representative to join our growing Advanced Performance Materials team. This position will be available at the Chemours Kabushiki Kaisha in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan and report directly to the AP Regional Customer Excellence Manager

The Customer Excellence Representative serves as the primary point of contact for Chemours customers, ensuring a seamless, positive experience throughout the order lifecycle. This role is responsible for processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining the highest standards of service in alignment with Chemours’ values and business objectives.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Efficiently manage customer orders from entry to fulfillment ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email providing information on products, services, order status and logistics etc.
  • Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner ensuring all billing documentation meets Chemours’ standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor accounts receivable (AR) status, track outstanding payments and proactively follow up with customers regarding overdue balances.
  • Proactively resolve customer issues collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance and Product Stewardship team etc) to deliver prompt solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to Chemours’ internal policies and process as well as external regulation and requirement in all customer interactions.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay current on Chemours’ products, policies and process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Generate reports and analyze customer trends to support business decisions.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in business English, both written and verbal
  • 1~2 years of customer service experience
  • SAP user
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, supply chain and other function team.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Customer service experience in chemical industry company
  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
