Responsibilities
- Develops a relationship with Area management and acts as the primary contact to ensure that the Area's publishing needs are met
- Leads the resources to provide publishing solutions that deliver value to the Areas
- Functions as the creative/publishing advisor utilizing the best practices to help the Area achieve their desired results and oversees the Content Publishing Process within the Area
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations and media production activities within CPD, including staff, budgets, planning, and compliance
- Oversee the delivery of multiple media projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget control
- Collaborate and negotiate with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and external partners
- Ensure all content complies with correlation, IP requirements, and other church policy
- Manage team capacity through effective resource planning, outsourcing, and workforce optimization
- Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate production staff in alignment with HR and CPD leadership
- Own and continuously improve production processes while ensuring strong business controls
- Act as a senior production specialist, providing hands-on leadership in film, photo, music, broadcast, and A/V projects
Qualifications
- Holds a valid temple recommend (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field) with advanced business/industry knowledge and 10+ years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience leading teams in a production environment
- Strong expertise in business planning, strategy, vision development, and leadership
- Proven ability to analyze complex challenges and implement effective solutions
- Demonstrated leadership across diverse functions, cultures, and languages
- Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills at all organizational levels
- Thorough understanding of production workflows, creative software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.) and broadcasting equipment
- Excellent communication skill and high proficiency in English (TOEIC 850 or higher preferred)
- Ability to travel as required
